Congratulations to our HCUA communities for maintaining record-high weekly recycle rates! We reached a 42.9% rate for the month of July, and we’re incredibly thankful for all of your hard work! However, for the month of August, we’re asking everyone to make a big push to help us reach 43%!

Encourage your household and neighbors to recycle this month, as we're getting closer to our goal of almost half of HCUA's communities recycling regularly!

No matter what, we again want to take the time to thank each and every one of you who has made the effort to recycle. Our growing recycle rates are proof that the Coast is making significant progress to reduce waste and preserve our environment, and those efforts have not gone unnoticed. It warms our hearts to see our communities come together and strive towards a common goal of improving the Coast. Of course, we want to do our part as well to make recycling and waste management as effective as possible, so your feedback is most appreciated. 

Once again, thank you all for your commitment to recycling and to making the Mississippi Gulf Coast a better place to live. Let's do even better next month!
